Meet Dr. Milbauer

35 years of practice. A lifetime of curiosity.

Dr. Milbauer is a chiropractic internist* and acupuncturist based in Sartell, Minnesota, with over 35 years of clinical experience. His career has been defined by a deep commitment to understanding the full picture of a person's health — not just the presenting complaint.

For more than 30 years, he has continued his musculoskeletal and structural work at Integracare Clinic in the St. Cloud area. Milbauer Functional Health represents the next chapter: a separate, dedicated practice built to go deeper into the chronic, unresolved, and complex conditions that conventional care often struggles to address.

His approach draws from functional medicine, integrative nutrition, herbal therapeutics, and acupuncture — always in collaboration with the patient and their existing care team.

Milbauer Functional Health is a separate and distinct practice from Dr. Milbauer's musculoskeletal work — built specifically for people whose health concerns haven't fully responded to conventional care. We use functional and integrative methods to understand the root causes of chronic and unresolved conditions, then work with each person to restore balance and build lasting health.

Thorough Assessment

We begin with a comprehensive history — surgeries, medications, diet, lifestyle, stress patterns, and adverse life experiences. You are more than your symptoms.

Advanced Testing

Laboratory testing includes blood, urine, stool, and salivary analysis. Imaging — X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and spirometry — is used when clinically appropriate.

Integrative Treatment

Treatment draws from nutritional and herbal medicine, targeted detoxification, and lifestyle coaching: diet, exercise, stress management, and spiritual wellbeing.
